Peak of Writing
Each process in its essence has a peak. Even when you write a paper, this process soon or later come to its peak point. Writing and editing are two sides of one coin. When you write, you cannot omit editing. If you need to edit, you cannot do it till you write something.
Now, let us talk a bit about editing, as a peak of writing. Editing is the process that helps notice the shortages of the paper. It is impossible to write without mistakes. From time to time we can make as light mistakes as well as gross ones. Editing gives a chance to improve the work and get higher grades. So, if you appreciate your time and want to get high grades, then use time for editing.
So, what should you do at first when you start editing? Check the sense of your writing. Does the work have sense? It should!
When you make sure that your work is informative, it is time to work with the details: spelling, grammar, punctuation and stylistic. If you can, you should better consult the method guides, as you can correct one mistake and make two instead.
Only when editing is finished, it is possible to say that writing is over. Writing and editing cannot be separated. One of them makes better the other. Now you know it and you may use this information to improve your works. It concerns as writing an essay, as well as writing a coursework and even a thesis. It does not matte if your work is short or long – editing is important for both of them in an equal degree.
