The results of our experiment will not influence your life at all. You will just get to know if writing is more complicated than editing, or not.
Why do you need to know it? You do not need. But we expect to catch your interest by offering to read a useless article. As you are a student, you must be tired of reading only useful things which teach you something. You need to have a rest and to let your brain to relax. At the same time, you can get some new info. We expect it to attract you to go on reading. Eventually, you have already read a half of the article. Why not go on reading it?
The aim of our experiment is to discover which of the two is more complicated: writing or editing. To get an answer, we will conduct a comparative analysis:
- Writing presupposes you to create something new. However, editing requires you to correct something which is already created. Sometimes it is more difficult to correct than to create from scratch.
- Writing takes a lot of time and requires long planning. Editing is much faster. However, you need to repeat the procedure several time running, which also takes a lot of time.
- Writing allows you make mistakes. Editing requires you to correct all the mistakes. You have no right to miss any of them.
Comparing these statements, we came to a conclusion that editing is more complicated than writing. Hence, you should treat it more serious.
